This November, L4N UK is proud to support Movember by inviting men (along with women) to all of our November meetings. Movember is an annual event that encourages men to grow their moustaches or anyone to get physically active during the month of November to raise awareness for men’s health.
At each meeting we will be running a raffle with proceeds collected from it going to the Movember Foundation.
We encourage everyone to get involved and pop along to your local L4N UK meeting this November and help raise awareness of this incredible foundation, ‘helping men live happier, healthier, longer lives’

Everyone wants to get hundreds of thousands of views on their website, however even the best marketers in the world don’t get this with everything they publish.
There are many factors that contribute to the success of certain content, the actual quality of it, how responsive the audience is and how skilled you are in promotion. It can be very difficult for an unknown blogger or videographer to release a new idea that makes it big.

This is my husband’s stock answer to all those little DIY jobs that mount up, endlessly, in a house of sociable, careless people and their destructive pets. Whilst unfinished jobs nag at my consciousness with water-torture regularity, he is able to compartmentalise, focus and ignore.
We moved into our current home almost three years to the day. I remember depositing a packing box full of books on the floor of a fireplace alcove and suggesting that we build shelves above to house them. I redecorated the room, hung curtains, had it re-carpeted and waited… and waited. The house needed major repair works (electrics, damp proofing, new roof, new windows, new bathrooms) all of which were attended to by craftsmen way more skilled and qualified for the job than us – we have been defeated by light-bulb changes in the past, especially those tricky recessed kitchen ceiling ones – but shelves are well within our capability. So ‘put up shelves’ went on the list of DIY jobs that we could handle in our own time. And the wait continued.
